An American Tragedy

   On September 11, 2001 America was caught by surprise when it faced it's largest national tragedy ever.  This part of my site, and my heart, go out to the victims and families of that disaster.

    Since the beginning of this disaster, I've seen more patriotism than I've ever seen in my entire life.  It's amazing how a disaster of this magnitude had to happen to get Americans to show their true sense of patriotism towards our country. 

Many, have renewed their faith in God.  

But, with the good, comes the bad.

    Hate has spread throughout the land. I don't mind the fact that people are against terrorism, it's just when someone hates the wrong people.  For example, people are being beaten just because of their skin color or religious belief.  This is America in the 21st Century, people, I thought we were over this childish nonsense of discrimination over race.  All that matters is the fact that we are America and united we must stand.  For once we start fighting amongst ourselves, that means that the terrorists have already won.
